Primary Sources

Text:

Clement, Catherine. Gandhi: Power of Pacifism. New York: Harry N. Abrams, Inc., 1996.

This book had actual pictures showing Gandhi during his protests, talking with political leaders, and even in jail. So it really helped.

 Gandhi’s Autobiography. [Online] Available http://web.mahatma.org.in, accessed 8 October 2001.

This helped me because it was in Mahatma Gandhi’s own words. It made me realize his feelings, thoughts, and emotions.

Severance, John B. Gandhi: Great Soul. New York: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1997.

Severance did a great job in explaining Gandhi’s life and goals he had throughout his life, he also had many great quotes that Gandhi said during his life.

Wolpert, Stanley. Gandhi’s Passion: The Life and Legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. New York: Oxford University Press, Inc., 2001.

The primary sources they had in this book really helped me understand what Gandhi felt during the protests and while in jail.

This book explained the general tasks Gandhi went through to during his life and his victory with Satyagraha which really helped me in the website.

Severance, John B. Gandhi: Great Soul. New York: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1997.
